MEET OUR COACHES

 

 

Sarah discovered Orangetheory as a member living in Scottsdale Arizona and knew she could not be without it. She and her husband Tim moved to Columbus in 2013 after Tim accepted a Professorship at Ohio State University. Sarah opened the first studio in Ohio in May 2014 in Dublin and with the strength of an amazing Orange team, opened the Grandview location August of 2016.
 
WHAT DO YOU BURN FOR?
My Orange team, who come to work dedicated to change peoples lives everyday.
 
WHAT’S YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE?
I cannot resist a second cup of coffee, and I usually don't go a day without eating some form of Chocolate! 
 
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE OTF EXERCISE?
Squats!
Candee came to Orangetheory after a long hiatus off any physical activity due to a serious car accident. Orangetheory quickly became what, in a sense, brought her back to life. She not only found her strength again, but her confidence, and then her purpose.
 
WHAT DO YOU BURN FOR?
Orangetheory changed my life and now I burn to help it change others’ lives too.
 
WHAT’S YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE?
Chocolate. All day, always – hide it from me and I will find it. Sometimes I even hide it from myself. Trust me, it doesn’t work.
 
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE OTF EXERCISE?
All of them! But if I have to choose – the rower. When I first started the rowing was the hardest part for me to grasp and enjoy, so I didn’t. And now that I have had proper instruction and have seen the benefits of the water rower, it has become my favorite!
Mamba predicates his classes on a fun, enjoyable, challenging environment always pushing his clients to get better. Holding relationships at a high priority he gets to know his clients and tries to challenge them to achieve all their goals. Holding certifications with NASM and Fit tour and constantly pushing himself to achieve a deeper knowledge of fitness the Mamba is prepared to meet the needs of all clients. The Mamba got into the fitness field when he was 16 starting as an amateur MMA competitor and boxer. Training with Professional and amateur fighters alike He knows how and when to push a client to achieve maximum efficiency in his classes. Always equipped with great music, HIGH energy, and a loving attitude The Orange Mamba looks forward to seeing that everyone in his class reaches their maximum potential. Also the Orange Mamba is an amazing nickname.

Stephanie Hamad, ACE Certified Personal Trainer, believes the key to living a healthy lifestyle is all about balance. She fell in love with OTF as a member because it combined everything she was looking for in a workout. Strength training, cardio and stretching, all in 60 minutes, and most importantly, all while being surrounded by an inspiring group of people motivating one another in a fun, upbeat atmosphere. Her passion for fitness and helping others led her to pursue a coaching position with Orangetheory and she can’t wait to share her enthusiasm for it with you!

Rowing!
Taylore is extraordinarily passionate about Orangetheory Fitness and the incredible community it builds. She has a versatile health and fitness background with her Bachelors of Science in Human Nutrition and her personal training certification through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). During her undergrad, she was a walk-on to the varsity rowing program at The Ohio State University, capturing three Big Ten and three National Championship titles. Interested in pursuing higher education and coaching at the Division I level, Taylore is currently the Graduate Assistant for the Women’s Rowing program at OSU and is pursuing her Masters in Sport Management. More importantly, she is PUMPED to help you reach your next fitness level! Can't wait to see you at the studio!
 
WHAT DO YOU BURN FOR?
I burn for everything. Two years ago, Orangetheory Fitness came into my life and it changed everything from the inside out. It has been an incredible journey with this family so far but the best is yet to come!

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE OTF EXERCISE?
Power push-ups!
Johnathan Vincent is a young, driven individual who has always had a passion for wellness and fitness. Having played sports year round since a young age and into college Johnny V has always known how to stay in top form for continued performance. Johnny recently graduated from Otterbein University where he earned a degree in Health Promotion and Fitness and minor in Nutrition; in addition to earning a degree he earned 4 letters in Football and 1 as a Track and Field athlete. Johnny V has gotten certification through NETA as a Group Fitness instructor, and is a certified USA-Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach. Johnny also works as a manager at the Funny Bone Comedy Club and is always willing to hear a good joke, so bring your best ones to class!
 
WHAT DO YOU BURN FOR?
I burn for a long healthy lifestyle balanced with physical, mental, social, and spiritual health!
 
WHAT’S YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE?
My guilty pleasure is cheesecake, any kinda sweets really… but mostly cheesecake.
 
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE OTF EXERCISE?
My favorite OTF exercise has to be Jump Squats. I love the low resistance with the TRX straps when trying to get a powerful jump session in.
Coach Carl is from Avon, Ohio. He has his personal training certification through ISSA and a certification for strength and conditioning. When he is not working with members, or getting his workouts in, he is playing with his French Bull Dog Bane who is practically like a son. Carl loves Orangetheory fitness because he thinks it's the best bang for your buck for a one hour HIIT session. He loves how members come together as strangers and truly become a family. He hopes to see you at the studio! 
 
WHAT DO YOU BURN FOR?
I burn for my family. My dad is my best friend and the best person I know.
 
WHAT’S YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE?
I could eat pizza everyday and twice on Sunday's.
 
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE OTF EXERCISE?
Rowing on the OTF Water Rowers! It is a total body workout and it takes endurance and strength. 
Colby loves to bring the enthusiasm! His passion for seeing people become more physically active and his knowledge of Kinesthetics make him a exceptional personal trainer who cares about your individual goals.

He grew up in Cincinnati where he played soccer throughout high school, college, and semi-professionally. After moving to Columbus in 2014, he honed in on his calling and continued his education at NPTI earning his Personal Training Certificate in June 2016.

For fun, Colby loves to play team sports with friends, study the Bible and go camping in the wilderness

HEART MONITORED TRAINING

 

Backed by the science of post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), our heart-rate monitored training is designed to keep heart rates in a target zone that stimulates metabolism and increases energy. Our clients burn an estimated 500 to 1000 calories per workout. We are 5 zone heart-rate interval training.

COACH SUPPORT

 

Working out in a group provides accountability and structure to help achieve fitness goals. You are more likely to get a great workout and better results from the well-rounded movements and pace direction you get in a group setting. The session motivates each other to pick up the pace and reach beyond plateaus. People who workout in groups stick to their goals more consistently than those that workout alone.
